1. Who we are
Adaa Jarso, an individual sole trader trading as Digital Asset Insights ("DAI", "we", "us", or "our"), is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with our websites, research, memberships, events, and related services (the "Service").
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials, organisation.
- Membership data: tier, subscription status, communications preferences.
- Support data: messages and attachments you send to us.
- Usage and telemetry: pages viewed, features used, referrer, approximate location.
- Device data: browser, operating system, device identifiers, IP address.
- Billing data: processed by our payment provider, Paddle, as Merchant of Record.
3. Why we use your data and legal basis
- To provide the Service — performance of contract.
- To create and secure your account — performance of contract and legitimate interests in fraud prevention.
- To provide customer support — performance of contract.
- To improve the Service and develop new features — legitimate interests.
- To send service announcements — legitimate interests / contract.
- To send marketing communications — consent (you may withdraw it at any time).
- To comply with legal obligations — legal obligation.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email delivery, and customer support tooling, under written data-processing terms.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the Service, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, fraud screening, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit advisers under duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities — where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.
5. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. When no longer required, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of your personal data;
- request restriction of, or object to, certain processing;
- request portability of your data;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
We will respond to verified requests within one month.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege — to protect your personal data.

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
